09:00am: Half Marathon Start (Rolling Start)
09:30am: 10km Start (Rolling Start)

The event will be a rolling start with participants heading off in small waves every few minutes. Our rolling start creates a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, limiting any participant congestion along the route. If you are looking to win your event then please make sure you are at the front of the first wave of runners that head off.

We recommend that you arrive at least 1 hour before the start. You should leave yourself enough time to park, register, drop any bags off, warm up and walk to the start which is a short 500m walk from the main event village.

(Please check your journey and travel plans before heading to the event.)

If you miss your start time – we may be able to start you in the next available wave. However, if there are no more waves available or you arrive more than 10 mins after the last wave then you will not be allowed to start.

There is a cut-off time of 4 hours for the half marathon trail run making the event achievable, even if you decide to mix walking with jogging along the course.

(Water stations will remain open until the last runner has crossed the finish.)

The event village and finish line will be located in Alexandra Gardens:
Alexandra Gardens, Barry Avenue, Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 1QX

The start line is a short 500m walk over Eton Bridge just before the Brocas.

Participants can leave essential belongings with us in our competitor baggage area located in the main event village. However as space is limited a baggage fee of £2.50 per bag will be applied. This can be purchased online with your entry or on the day.

To retrieve your bag at the end of the event all you have to do is show your race number at the baggage area.

Your timing chip is attached to the back of your race number, so this is all you will need to start the event.

The timing chip is already attached to the back of your race number so just attach your race number to the front of your running vest or clothing. It is important that your race number is clearly visible at all times during the event. Do not bend, twist or fold your race number as this could damage the timing chip.

Your race number must be clearly visible on the front of your running vest/ clothing. You can secure your race number with a race belt or by attaching it to your vest/ clothing using some pins (one pin in each corner).

Safety pins will be available in the main marquee in the event village.

You should wear appropriate clothing that is suitable to run in and also take into account the weather conditions on the day.

(Trail running shoes are recommend.)
